The John R. Mott Foundation is a charitable organization operating under the laws of the United States of America. The annual awarding of scholarships for higher education to students who are natives of Calabria is its principal mission. It is governed by a self perpetuating Board of Directors which is solely responsible for the management and policy of the Foundation. The John Mott Foundation is organized as a supporting organization of the National Italian American Foundation and receives its tax exempt status because of this relationship.
